2010年六月，凤凰花开，台大校长在毕业典礼说：“台大女生（五姬十三妹）从事show girl很可惜！”引发不同论述，师长们偏向认同，年轻一代多半说OK啊。女生若无台大光环可顶着，又无model条件，就只能顾影自怜吗？还好，马克吐温说：“女人四十岁以前不美，可以怪上帝；四十岁以后，还是不美，要怪自己。”所以，四十岁是临界点，重心出发以后，比的是内在美，例如谈吐，气质，才德，自信，学识，智慧等。下列相关中的中英名言，不一定中听，但很中用。
